I am a photographer currently based in Ohio, originally from southern Indiana. I live with my wife, our three kids, and two dogs. I bought my first point-and-shoot camera as a teenager, which sparked an early interest in documenting everyday life and the world around me. That curiosity eventually led me to pursue photography more seriously and earn my associate degree in photography in Indiana.
Before transitioning to photography full-time, I spent over a decade working in logistics and manufacturing. In 2023, I made the tough decision to leave that career to focus fully on photography. Today, I primarily photograph families and portraits, while also exploring landscape and studio photography. I homeschool my children, which keeps education at the center of my life and reinforces my long-term goal of becoming a college-level photography instructor. My experiences as a parent, educator, and working photographer continue to shape how I approach both my work and my future in teaching.
